You are correct that the Koran is incompatible with modern secular living, but so is the Bible, and no one will deny that there exist millions of Christians “living the contradiction” of worshiping a violently xenophobic bronze-age screed, while living peacefully in a modern secular democracy.

In the end, I would wager it has to do more with social stability and quality of life where Christians compared to Muslims live, rather than a technical difference in the level of moral monstrosity between their two holy books.

As for this issue: BS. Any hate speech complaints should be fired straight at the source of these quotes, not at a reporter who drew attention to them…Unless drawing attention to hate speech is itself a crime now, in which case the next complaint should be against the tribunal itself, no?
