When the constutional rights of the parents trump the children, or the constutional rights of a religious cult trump the state?
Those who beleive that a 80 year old man should not be allowed to molest a 15 year old female so he can get to heaven because his prophet told him so and in order to achieve that end mommies and daddies must raise little girls to believe it is their duty to fulfill the prophet’s orders and mommies and daddies must kick their sons out of the cult because there wouldn’t be enough girls to pass around so they must of course be allowed to continue because it would be discrimination and uncontitutional to stop them .
Let’s face it laws discriminate. One law that is enacted to protect one group (example The People of the State of Texas) will discriminate against another group (example a sick perverted Cult).
As an aside, I’m so glad your are amused by what is going on in Texas. I remember after Hurricane Katrina the people in the State of Texas opened their arms to the people of Louisiana while everyone else was wringing their hands and pointing fingers.
Yeah, that’s logical.
