yes, let’s hang the poor social workers that were tryin to protect children from middleaged predators and do their jobs, by all means.
Whine about due process all you like, this is a states rights issue and, so sowwy michele, Texas gets to enforce their own state laws as they see fit.
The Texas CPS was executing on their directive to protect children as they and the state legally saw fit. The judge percieved risk, and the CPS executed on that risk.
The courts will hammer it out.
CPS is appealling the court order to release SOME of the children, right?
This is something very common on the Right– the ownership of children. School vouchers, attempts to force IDT into classrooms, to force Planned Parenthood to rat out kids in trouble, to police the interwebs, all attempts to prevent children from the emancipation of higher education and growing up.
No wonder durleen is sympathetic to the children-as-chattel meme.
She totally agrees with the FLDS patriarchy daddies.
So michele, here’s my question for you.
When do the rights of children not to be held as chattel trump the rights of the parents to do with them as they see fit?
