It appears that a common form of illogic has found its way into the discussion.
People who criticize welfare are accused of wanting the poor to starve. In a like manner, people who criticize the CPS’s actions are being accused of condoning child rape.
Both are forms of ad hominem argumentation, no more logical than name-calling; in fact, they are simply alternative forms of name-calling.
The time has come to stop the name-calling. Either the CPS’ mission places them above the laws of the US and of Texas, or it does not. The court has ruled that it does not.
