Ballots in 2010, if that doesn’t work then BULLETS!!
This self appointed patrician class known as Congress MUST GO!!!
But if the so called war on terror is any evidence, Americans will cave and go on chewing their cud like contented bovines.
Oh there’ll be outrage from a few but it’ll fade in time.
Like our determination to exact retribution for 9/11. Once we didn’t feel threatened any longer we grew complacent and now worry about the fat lip of a terrorist and miranda rights on the battlefield.
In other words if it takes personal sacrifice, civil disobedience (refusing to pay taxes, for instance) the majority of Americans will leave it to the other guy.
