The onus is ACTUALLY just as much on Americans AND Brits as well. We weren’t the ones who backed Khomeini…a million ideologues who poured into the city streets were regaled by YOUR media, YOUR president who in less than ONE YEAR, when he had called Iran the “Ocean of stability” ended up helping boot out that very stability by backing a sociopathic ideologue. I’m sorry but you’re VERY presumptuous to think you hate the Mullahs as much as an Iranian whose family has been executed and imprisoned for 30 years! I’m shocked that you would confuse sympathy with empathy and until you’ve walked a mile in our shoe, I would suggest that you make sure that you would presume to talk for all Iranians just because you know a few. That’s just as silly as anti-Americans who go around bashing ALL Americans because they don’t like Disneyland, McDonalds or Bush!
