Banafsheh, respectfully, I think either you didn’t read my post fully or didn’t comprehend what my neighbors’ thoughts on this subject are. They basically agree with you, they are just leery of the thought of war (as most people tend to be). I share their opinion.

I consider the opinions of people equally, regardless of their geographical location, but you certainly aren’t going to win any support from people with vinegar. My neighbor was an officer and pilot in the Iranian Air Force with a beautiful home in Tehran and a vacation house near Chah Behar on the Gulf. His father and one of his brothers were murdered by Hezbollah in the early days of the revolution. Another of his brothers and three nephews were killed during the Iran-Iraq War. Based on what he has lost, I really don’t think you can legitimately question his opposition to the mullahs.

Furthermore (again, respectfully), instead of expecting Americans to spend their blood and treasure to liberate you, you and your supporters should do something more substantive. The United States did not gain its independence because we expected others to fight for us. Once you start a SHOOTING WAR on your own to overthrow the mullahs I think you’d find Americans far more willing to provide you with military support.
