On a day when the media is constantly blathering about the State of the Union Address, thousands of American troops are putting themselves in harm’s way in Iraq and Afghanistan, and other places we don’t know about. Our cultural elite is at the Sundance Film Festival gushing over two films. One starring a 12 year old, whose parents think it is ok to portray her in a sexual manner, the other about beastility. Sometimes I almost think the Islamists have a point about our society.
