On conversions, one wonders what would have become of Christianity if the Apostles had “strongly discouraged” would-be Christians. And aren’t the Catholic clergy a bit too quick to do this? In Turkey where conversion is legal and not uncommon, the local Catholic clergy seem to do all they can to shake off would-be contacts and event to discourage non-Christians from attending Mass.
