You contradict yourself. You say you want us to do what we set out for, but then won’t support what it might take to get the job done. Do you not see the inherent contradiction in that?
However, there is more that should be done. Admittedly, I don’t know the whole plan, but if I came up with one of my own, it wouldn’t be solely military:
1. Get the Department of Corrections from several states involved to train Iraqi police and prisons.
2. Get the Department of Education involved to train Iraqi teachers and build schools.
3. Get HUD involved for the rebuilding projects. The Army has the Corps of Engineers, but those with more knowledge would be better.
4. Get Treasury and coporations, as well as the SBA, involved to build the infrastructure.
5. Bring power plant execs over to rebuild the power system.
If we truly want to win, then more than the military must be involved.
