I will bet my house that Msmensa fabricated or grossly misrepresented her story to make her sorry point. Even 30 years ago such unequal treatment would never have been tolerated – especially within Fortune 100 companies where it would be far more likely that she would be promoted and rewarded way beyond what her actual performance warranted.
I experienced a lot of this first hand but back then I bought into the notion of redressing prior era “inequalities” by allowing the pendulum to swing the other way. However, I noted over the years that an awful lot of people who benefited from affirmative action were not willing to put in the effort required to perform well. Rather they continued to escalate their feelings of grievance and entitlement. This appears to be a common theme among all of the beneficiaries of the left/liberal “progressive” programs.
