The problem with this speech is that it comes too late and is being made after too many blunders. Bush’s crediblity on the issue is nil. The tenor of the speech is correct but our strength has been sapped by the focus on Iraq when it should have been and be on Iran and Afganistan and even Syria (not to mention the source of extremism, Saudi Arabia.)
