You are correct that the actions reveal their desperation. Hard to watch all that grant money sprout wings. The stories and comments that are coming out now to counteract the damage done by the release of CRU emails are so over the top that only those who are already confirmed believers will give them credence. They are losing the middle and the idiocy they are now spewing will only serve to erode the support of those who were willing to believe as long as they could reasonably trust the science. But comments like those just made by Gore and the supposed fact that this decade is going to be the warmest on record are so overwrought and so contrary to the evidence (the climate has been demonstrably cooling since 1998;)they sound like a 4 year-old caught with his hand in the cookie jar. Or worse Jon Lovitz doing Tommy Flannagan!
