11 Douglas. Do you really want the next leader of the USA to be on par with the average Joe(sephine)?
When our forefathers founded this country it was on the belief that we would have a government of the people, by the people, and for the people. A businessman would give his time to help our country, then LEAVE politics and go back to their business, ensuring that those who are in office do for the american people because they are one of us. We do not need the ‘elite’ controlling the government because you end up with a mess, just like we have today. We need to get the brightest people who do NOT want to be in office and put them there, so they will not seek to make politics a career, they will do what’s best for our country and the American people, then go back to their businesses. Career politicians only have one goal, to continually get elected until they retire, and they will try to accomplish this feat any way possible, by lying, backroom deals, and every once in a while actually doing something good for our country.
