Now and Then – you are missing the point. We might blame Clinton for his refusal to acknowledge reality about rising Islamic fascism, or for the recession etc – but Bush didn’t. Bush accepted reality as it was, and began to work. Obama is focused only on Himself; his agenda is not to fix things but to keep the public in a state of constant devotion…that’s why he’s constantly whitewashing himself in public.

An excellent analysis by VDH. I agree with David Thomson; I don’t think Obama will drop the ‘blame Bush’ theme soon; he might start to add others..and I’m suggesting he’s going to start blaming the ‘American people’. He’s already made it clear that anyone who rejects his utopian socialist policies is unAmerican and unworthy of his attention. I suggest this will increase.

I agree with Dr. Hanson’s outline of the future in foreign affairs. Obama most certainly is enabling Iran to get nuclear weapons and flex its imperialist agenda in the ME. Russia will expand in Eastern Europe, theatening Western Europe, and Chavez, linked to both Iran and Russia, will move in Central America.

I suspect that Obama will continue to drop in the polls, as he and the BackRoom Gang who run him and set up the socialist policies, are reduced to their hardcore radical leftists. The loss of not merely Republicans but independents will be seen as a personal threat by Obama. I’m predicting, again, he’ll turn against mainstream Americans.
