Fukino said she and the registrar of vital statistics, Alvin Onaka, have personally verified that the health department holds Obama’s original birth certificate.
“Therefore, I as Director of Health for the State of Hawai‘i, along with the Registrar of Vital Statistics who has statutory authority to oversee and maintain these type of vital records, have personally seen and verified that the Hawai‘i State Department of Health has Sen. Obama’s original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures,” Fukino said.

Please re-read that. Please note that Fukino and Onaka do NOT tell us WHAT the birth certificate SAYS. All they say is that they HAVE it. The State of Hawaii Dept. of Vital Statistics stores Hawaiians’ birth certificates, EVEN IF THEY COME FROM OUTSIDE OF HAWAII. Ask them yourself if you don’t believe me. That’s their policy—probably because Hawaii has so many immigrants from other states and countries. So the fact that they HAVE a birth certificate for Barack Obama tells us nothing about where he was born.
