The main person who “MAINSTREAMS the Birthers” now is OBAMA himself, with his irrational (if, o.c. he has nothing to hide) behaviour. All those infamous “millions for lawyers” vs. “15 bucks for a piece of paper” mainstream the Birthers much more effectively than anything else.
