About a decade ago in one of the western states, a woman who’s son had been raped by an adult male walked into the court after the rapist was sentenced to a few years in jail and shot the SOB dead. The American version of an honor killing. She did 5 years, IIRC. It was amusing to watch her empty her pistol into the SOB while a dozen cops stood there and watched. She still did her time.
