Palin would be a disaster, as she was in Alaska.
She used her power to carry out personal vendettas. She raised taxes on our oil industry, harried them like a true populist, and prevented drilling at Point Thompson. She could never focus on anything that was urgent long enough to accomplish anythings (bullet gas-line from Fairbanks to Anchorage). She let McCain hatchetmen run amok in the state prior to the election, hurting the reputations of many a good Alaskan.
Grow up Mr. Solway. We need leaders not narcissists.
