I think you misunderstood what I wrote.
I don’t expect it to happen either. It’s clear to everyone that Olmert cannot pull this off. But what he can do is put concessions on the table that become the starting point for the next round. Just like Barak did at Taba in December 2000 – January 2001. And since he’s not likely to be indicted for another three months, he has the whole summer to do it.
