He wants to meet with the Iranian leadership without preconditions, but there will be conditions that aren’t conditions, just preparations.
Obama says Iran is too small a country to pose a threat, but he reminds us that he’s always said it poses a grave threat.
He said he would meet personally with Ahmadinejad, but not necessarily with Ahmadinejad.
Obama won’t meet with Hamas because it engages in terrorism and calls for Israel’s destruction, but he’ll meet with Iran with and without conditions even though it engages in terrorism and calls for Israel’s destruction.
Obama drives an SUV and says we can’t drive SUVs; he says our military needs to send Arabic speakers to Afghanistan, where they don’t speak Arabic; and we need to bomb Pakistan, an ally.
He says he’ll listen to the generals, except when they tell him we need to win the war in Iraq.
Obama says we must stop fighting al Qaeda in Iraq so that we can go fight al Qaeda in Afghanistan.
He says he knows that raising the capital gains tax will decrease government revenues, thus reducing the government’s ability to help the poor, but he must do it in order to be fair to the poor.
I must be dumb as cement to not see this man’s stunning, unprecedented genius. To me, he sounds like a spluttering buffoon who has no idea what he’s talking about and is in way over his head.
