More reputations than the climatologists are on the line. The reputation of “big science” in general is st stake. Failure by the scientific profession as a whole to publically and decisively repudiate this fraud will result in them losing credibility with the elected officials they seek funding from.
Exactly, Tom. The people who should be angriest about this are the scientists doing honest work – scientists who question themselves and allow others to question their work.
For years, I thought that, while the humanities departments at universities were clearly going to hell in a handbasket, at least the hard sciences were free from political agendas. How naive of me to believe that PC had not contaminated the sciences as well.
