No. We are seeing an eclipse. A darkness that will pass. Part of the American experience is that bankruptcy is not the end, just a clarifying process that allows a new start with lessons learned the hard way. We are headed for a fall, but the rest of the world is along for the ride whether they like it or not and will share our hard times. And we will be back, stronger and wiser. Most Americans knew right away Fort Hood was a jihadi attack when they saw the shooter’s name. We have been there done that a few times already. Political correctness is in the sunset stage, not the USA.
