Gotta love sweeps week. Palin is effin’ everywhere! Wanna boost your ratings? Get Palin on your show! Wanna lose sweeps week? don’t get Palin on your show. How brilliant was it to release her book and do a book tour during sweeps week? Just effin’ brilliant.
Hour-long appearances on Oprah and (GMA) Baba Wawa; Hannity today, picked up by all the wires; O’Reilly tomorrow. Just huge! Who does a book tour and gets whole hours of top shows? Authors wish they could get whole hours to promote their books.
The book-signings will be insane. Imagine the lines! Streets will become traffic jams as people look for parking. Might as well just shut down parts of town, except, it will be the most business these places will have seen in some time. There won’t be bread, but there will be circuses. I think it’ll be just insane, but perhaps, a happy insane.
One last thought: Beck and O’Reilly are going on tour. Wouldn’t it be a rocking surprise for the folks, if they gave Palin a surprise appearance at one of them? The crowd would explode!
