This is, as you say, the gaffe of all gaffes, and yet, I can’t get over the irony of the fact that simply to place Obama’s name in the same paragraph with the word “assassination” is thought to be an abomination, but speaking of Bush or Cheney being assassinated has been one of the great leftist fantasies of at least the past five years–and hardly a secretive one at that.
