What illegal war? The one Billy Blue Dress started in the Balkans?
Iraq is neither a war, nor illegal.
It is a ‘campaign’, which is part of a war and it was authorized by both Congress AND the UN under chapter 7.
Those are facts, and while the word ‘war’ doesn’t appear in either the Congressional resolution to take military action against Iraq or the UN resolution to take other means against, military action and other means are diplo-speak for war.
Despite the Kellog-Brand pact, War is not an illegal activity.
