It is part of the overall strategy for the worldwide spread of the Ummah to use a country’s own legal systems to squelch any criticism of Islam.
A similar instance involved heavy Muslim agitation against Rachel Ehrenfeld’s book in Britain, and a court’s ruling there against her book.

Thankfully, when there was further agitation to make the British court’s ruling applicable in the US, the NY Supreme Court said “no”.
Do people in “the west” really want their societies to be responsive to the Sock Puppets and their handlers ?
Are people so weak, myopic and fearful (the Canadian Tribunal ?) that they can’t see the true agenda here ?
And (rhetorical question alert !) if the Koran is the immutable Word of God, why would it even need such defense from mere mortals ?
