“Takbir! Allahu Akbar! God damn America!”
UC Irvine (what about Columbia U and other campuses?) fosters a culture of unwarranted revanchism, anti-semitism and upheaval which is part and parcel of the wild sixties’ nihilism which, as we all know, is regarded with much sympathy in today’s society.
With Ayres, Wright and Hayden as revered symbols of a living past, can one realistically expect president Obama to regard Iran’s game other than warranted and legitime? Or to pardon Mumia Jabal? Or to work for a financial compensation for all of African-slaves descent in the US?
The list of goals for someone whose mind can accomodate the “God damn America!” is vast, and, unfortunately those goals are within reach.
And we deserve that – after all, we are the bad guys, aren’t we?
