The Richmond High Gang Rape: Who’s to Blame?

How is forcing the innocent to pay rent for the guilty justice?

Ms. Catalano, there are millions of poor people in this country who nonetheless manage to refrain from senseless violence – the blame here lies with the perpetrators, and to a lesser extent, their parents.

One of the sickest aspects of these incidents which are far too common is that the taxpayers of California will be burdened with paying tens of thousands of dollars per year to house these monsters for decades to come, unless other monsters already on the inside of their cozy taxpayer-funded housing decide to dispense the justice that our bleeding heart courts are unwilling to.

This incident, along with the gang murder in Chicago recently, and the incredibly disturbing Christian/Newsom double murder in Tennessee a couple years ago, bring to my mind the passage in Heinlein’s Starship Troopers about “juvenile delinquents”, particularly since the people who condoned this action through their own inaction in raising their children, or watching and taking pictures will likely face no consequences. I saw a recent article about this violence on NPR, and the featured picture was of the relatives of one of the accused crying(yes, you read that right, the accused), the slant of much of the media in this country is sickening.
