One wonders how Frank Rich and others get away with their gross mischaracterizations of conservatives. His audience must consist of folks who are at least as ignorant of todays’ political landscape as he is. We are not Stalinists, Maoists or Socialists nor do we promote the execution of politicial opponents in any way. Perhaps he thinks he’s being cute, in that Alan Grayson way. No one with friends thinks in such a questionable manner. I have Democrat friends, and I certainly don’t think them evil. Misguided, yes, but evil, no. When presented with facts, most folks will acknowledge the error of their perceptions and usually concede to reality.
