Kipling@197:
“To Dave K. @ 189: Without a word spoken from outside of creation, how would we be able to determine what is evil? Philosophy committed suicide in its own nihilism and post-modern relativism, where everyone does what is right in his own eyes, is leading to societal chaos. Without a definitive word from the Creator, then we are left in the Darwinian jungle and it becomes survival of the fittest.”

So without your God, you’d revert to behaving like a wild animal?
Remind me to never be in your neighborhood when you start doubting your faith.

“To Dave K. @192: Your willful distortion of what so many have tried to explain to you speaks to your real intent here more than anything. You are not interested in learning or honest debate. Instead you intentially play the fool. I do not mind correcting you for the benefit of others but now you have become so obsurd that your foolishness speaks for itself.”

The fact is that Christians do not follow the teachings of the Bible if it inconveniences them.

At least Orthodox Jews and Muslims are more consistent in their beliefs.

Don’t get me wrong, Jews and Muslims are just as insane as Christians, but Christians are less internally consistent in their particular brand of madness.

“To Dave K. @195 and Moho @ 196: Idiocy and ridicule, the last refuge of the foolish and defeated. How is it that the intellectual inquiry into the origin of the universe has devolved into the leftist “Flying Spaghetti Monster.” Perhaps to some, unintellectual ridicule is an effective tool, but we are no longer seven year olds on the playground.”

So Zoroastrian, Muslim, Buddhist, Jewish, Hindu, and Sikh worshipers are not worthy of anything but idiocy and ridicule?

I was merely trying to expand your horizons and help you to understand that trying to open up the US government to different religions might not be to your advantage if the religions aren’t Christian.
