You’ve touched on the independent voter’s worst nightmare.
Let’s see: A man with a cult-like following in the WH, with party majorities in the House & Senate, that will rubber-stamp his court appointments. And an enabling, fawning media. Checks & balances? Who needs them. The people demand change, dammit!
If Obama wins, given the scenario above, we probably will get changed, whether we like it or not.
