I remember when Sen. Edmund Muskie of Maine was running (I think for VP) that he created a scene in front of the Manchester NH Union Leader about disparaging remarks about his wife. That action cost him dearly. His campaign stalled; he never did recover. NOBODY LIKES A CRYBABY!
