Well, it’s hard to be upset by this news.
However…
They should have been the ones on trial for libel, not you. And, given what I read about the original trial (AKA Dreyfus pt 2), I’d say you’ve got a 50/50 chance of winning the inevitable appeal. And who’s ever going to hear about this? If I was a mainstream news outlet I’d probably think twice about running a story that paints the media as gullible and dishonest. Truthfully, I’m only slightly less depressed about this today as I was before the verdict.
You have my respect and admiration, but where does all this leave us?
