huxley has hit the issue squarely when he says: “Do you really suppose that the US is not talking to Iran privately? Are you aware that Europe has been talking to Iran publicly for years now over Iran’s nuclear program to no avail?”
The back channels of communication are always open, even with the most rogue of nations. We(the USA), communicate, for example, with North Korea via China, and I’m equally sure we communicate with Iran through other Mid-east facilitators. To believe otherwise is to be naive.
