Oh, there’s an obsession alright. I’ve been documenting it here for months – the right wing scat fascination. You’re absolutely right, Praetorian. It’s amazingly consistent . . . and comes in many different forms . . . the quintessential example in both purity and frequency being “turd.” The loves themselves some turds.
And yes, Rush is the King Fixator – bending over, grabbing his ankles . . . butt boys . . . etc. As to what explains it? Well, the fist stop (I’m sorry, did I say fist? I meant first.) would be your garden variety sexual repression so common among the Godlies. Beyond that, I’d say there are some abuse issues at work . . . there are a lot of Uncle Ernies out there, and most of them are conservatives.
So, Praetorian, relax in knowing that you are correct in your observation. And keep a watch out for the Right Wing Scat Fascination. . . . I suggest offering “Scat Alert – Right on Cue” as the appropriate recognition. Enjoy the show.
