Bush sure “caught it” for that wink of his.
I remember thinking it a bit odd – but it was accompanied by a shrug of his shoulders and a goofy smile/laugh. He seemed almost vulnerable, perhaps a (justifiable) nervousness as he faced the press.
It carried with it none of the dismissiveness that Obama’s remark has. No one felt belittled.
Still, the MSM won’t make much, if anything, of this. And perhaps we shouldn’t either – except to note the bias continues.
