How this sort of yellow journalism made it onto the pages of Pajamas Media is a surprise to me.
Is the racism real? Yes. Is it a real problem (outside of West Virginia)? No one has come up with concrete, statistical evidence that demonstrates this.
How is voting for someone because of their race any different than voting against them for the same reason? It is still prejudice. Anyone voting for Barack Obama solely because of his race are just as racist as anyone voting against him for the same reason, and anyone voting for/against based solely on race is a fool.
Ruben’s entire article is based on anecdotes and weak statistics from ONE STATE of FIFTY. Racism is not the 800-pound gorilla in the room. It is the annoying gnat, nothing more.
I hope that Pajamas Media can work on keeping this type of morally and ethically bankrupt article off the site in the future.
