goy, You make some good points. I fear you may be all too prescient about the impact of BHO on blacks. What a tragedy if that is indeed the outcome. I think we both agree that BHO is beginning to make Jimmy Carter look good.

That said, I don’t think it is that “silly” to worry about a perceived identification being made between the Obama crowd and (Radical) Jews. The “Reverend” Wright has already made it: Remember his saying: “Obama’s Joos are keeping me away from him?” Blacks might eventually wake up to what BHO et al. are doing to them, and that could put gasoline on long-smoldering Black anti-Semitism. (It is not a great secret that Radical and Communist Jews were active in “organizing” the Black Community during the Civil Rights era, with the result (intent?) that much of the Civil Rights movement veered away from its original, strongly Christian orientation.)

The historical puzzle as to why Jews turn to Radicalism when they repudiate religion remains an interesting question in its own right. And, as Slezkine points out, when the backlash comes, it doesn’t seem to distinguish between non-religious vs. religious vs. atheist-but-capitalist, etc. etc. members of “the group.”

Thanks for an interesting discussion!
