mishu, where I come from,,, anyone who resides even slightly north of Dallas is considered to be a yankee. Heck, I was 14 years old before I learned “damnyankee” was supposed to be two words. To be revealed as an elitist yankee should be the equivalent of a political kiss of death in the South. Obama has earned those stripes, he will, I’m sure, wear them with pride all the way to defeat at the hands of John McCain in November.
