I agree that ACORN is now being scrapped and it should be. I would like to see it re-invented in local communities with its leadership decentralized. Cities/Counties leaders could then appoint a local “housing czar” thats appointed by the mayor and/or county commissioner. The organization would then be run from the ground up, thus ensuring local accountability. Local people running their own affairs.
Yeah, they could hand out housing assignments based on how good a “party” man you are.
