What strikes me about this thread is fact that it exists at all. Consider the Democratic Party’s(DP) tactic of separating Americans into ‘voting blocks’ and the MSM’s continual reporting of the Party’s tactics used to influence each special interest group. Had the MSM not taken the lead from the DP, but instead insisted on discussing the candidates approach to specific issues, i.e. Realist vs. Idealists, Free-market vs. Socialism, Moralist vs. Secular, etc., and how the candidates proposed solution affect various aspect of the economy and everyday lives of Americans the conversation wouldn’t degenerate to discussing insults.
