Ruben that is not true. I came to this country 25 years ago to a small town in Kansas. I was loved, cared and treated the same way that I was in my native country. In Mexico, people discriminate against darker Indian looking Mexican and Chinese. In same Latin countries, Chinese are not allowed to own properties. The lighter your skin is, the more upper class you are. You cannot denied that.
So, in the US is the same thing too. If you have money, if you are a prestigious darked skin Iranian doctor, you will be married to a blonde Irish American girl, and be accepted in that society like any other succesful person. This story about discrimination is so stupid because you have not discussed it in your Sociology class in college with your Marxists teachers. Ruben, at one point or another, all humans discriminate and have prejudices. That is how you develope criteria. You do that with food as well. Some towards fat people, others towards laud and low and uneducated people. If you assimilate into a society, there is always going to be some elements of rejections due to different value systems but not because of systmatic racism as you like to say. You are not a good journalist and your arguments are weak, misleading and sadly, passe.
