The same tired rhetoric from the left. They continually ignore the illegals flooding over our northern borders as well, because it isn’t convenient to their argument. That argument being, we are all racists.
The author also points toward the most recent attitudes regarding Italian immigrants, without considering that at that time it might have had more to do with concerns over the spread of organized crime rather than a dislike of Italians.
