To make a point; the issues of racism AND sexism are both legitimate political issues. What makes them such is the fact that both Democratic candidates are running as “firsts”. One a ‘first’ black, the other a ‘first’ woman.
That means they are running for selfish motives, with their own interests being placed before that of the nation’s.
Those kind of people make the worst Presidents.
The best thing that could happen to America here in the early 21st century would be a President that is black, or female. The worst thing that could happen is a black President or a Female President.
Unfortunately, there are too many voters who cannot see the difference between a Black President and a President who is Black. Or between a Female President and a President who is Female.
