In the 9-28-09 WSJ there is an article about how Gates is blocking the McChrystal report so that the administration can better sum up their overall plan for the region. McCrystal seems to be pulling a Patton in leaking his own story. Gates is covering for Obama. Obama is weighing the war effort against his further leftist factors and the Open Society. The impetus seems to want to put this war into a no-win situation. I hope that they at least burn the opium fields on the way out. Russia and China are still more enemies than allies. Pakistan can be left to twist in the wind, and the jihad has a larger, nuclear home base. This is a code pink alert.
