Great piece, and good backup info. Deep down, the BHO campaign wants to paint the “woe-be-us” picture as his constituents will respond to that – it’s EASY for them. We need people to understand that living in a welfare state, de-emphasizing personal responsibility, does ZERO good for the citizens of this country. The challenge of “rising up” and making something of yourself, in spite of long odds, is part of the bedrock of this country – one of those things that is HARD to do, but is the most rewarding thing for that someone if successful.
