Just a few comments because I know the author: well written article (and he knows I’d tell him it stunk if I thought so), but it may change 1/10th of 1 percent of the ideology of the population, if that much. But its good to have what used to be the ‘silent majority’ talking back and bringing up opposing views from the newspaper journalist.

RE: “It is my personal opinion that everyone is “racist” and those who cry the loudest that they are not, are usually worse than those who simply ignore it.” I couldn’t have said it better, Blossom.

I know and care very little about politics. The next President as previous Presidents will not be elected (or not elected) by racists or even individual voters. The election will be won by monies given to candidates by big corporations and stealth lobby groups providing millions of dollars to the candidate that can help their cause the most. And it will be won by the spin-doctors – professional candidate advisors (e.g. James Carvel (sp?)).

Bush didn’t even receive the majority of the votes, but because of the antiquated electoral college and some shennanigans (dangling ‘participles’ (?))in Florida (wasn’t Fla’s governor also named Bush?), G W became President.
