“Greed?”
Greed most assuredly has much to do with it. Barbara Walters’ autobiography is now assured of selling a large number of copies. Sex sells whether we like it or not.
I also recommend Burt Prelutsky’s own collection of interviews with major movie stars and other notable people, The Secrets of Their Success. The Gene Kelly interview was perhaps my favorite.
