Your idiotic comment about research, I didn’t mean scientific research, I meant the writers verify and interpret the consequences of the subject of the joke. Like the Palin ‘I can see Russia from my house’, that gem showed the total ignorance of her world view, she didn’t literally said it but condenses what she is like. Not many Chinese trip jokes yet, except ‘Is this Japan?’
